The different themes of tea gift basket
In my opinion, there are four styles of tea gift basket theme available. They are Traditional, Colonial, Practical and Fun.
Traditionally themed baskets have an ancient, almost shamanistic feel to them. These baskets are perfect for spiritual people, or people who specifically prefer loose, usually Asiatic teas.
Colonial baskets usually hold teas brewed in the old english and irish styles. The theme is usually quaint, and may include items harkening back to the Boston Tea Party.
Practical baskets come with items that have a use other than just the tea. These are great for someone who you might think appreciates tea but not on a regular basis. Popular practically themed baskets have teapots, organizers, stamps, stationary notes, cookies, candy and usually come in some kind of reusable container.
Fun tea baskets are similar to practical baskets except they are, well, more fun than useful. The teas tend to be of a fruity flavor and the items within it are usually colorful and exciting to recieve. Popular fun basket items include stuffed animals or dolls, books, tapes, candy, etc.
When deciding on that right basket for the right person, keep in mind which "theme" is probably best suited for that person. This will help your decision making process tremendously!

If you don't like what you see on one site, don't be afraid to backup on your internet browser to your search engine results and try another website. The various sites to choose from tend to have very unique styles, so where one site's type of tea gift basket may completely turn you off, the next catalog might be very inviting! There are many different themes of basket out there and each site tends to stick to one type, so make sure the company you are looking into offers the correctly themed gift basket you are looking for, be it practical, traditional or fun.
Selecting the Right Tea Gift Basket for the Right Person
How do you select the right basket? Well its just like any other gift, you want to keep the recipient in mind.
The tea gift basket should fit the recipient. When picking out a basket, pick one that you think suits him/her. Select a tea flavor or theme that you think they will genuinely enjoy. This will prove to be a relatively simple task, just think of what your friend/family member will like.
Keep the quantity in mind. You don't want to give a year's worth of tea gift basket to somebody who barely drinks tea. This should go without saying but I felt it was important enough to mention.
